What is the FHIR Mapping Templates Library?

The Mapping Library is a curated collection of ready-to-use HL7v2 to FHIR mapping templates. Each template is a real, working mapping — source fields already wired to FHIR R4 elements — that you can fork in one click and adapt to your own feed. Instead of starting from an empty canvas, you begin from a spec that already handles the common cases.

Templates are organized by source vendor and message type, so you can jump straight to the pattern that matches your integration: an Epic ADT feed, a Cerner ORU lab result, a MEDITECH export, or a standard HL7v2 trigger event. Search by name, tag, or description to find the closest starting point.

Common Mapping Examples

ADT to Patient: map admission messages into FHIR Patient and Encounter.
ORU to Observation: turn lab results into structured FHIR Observations.
Vendor-specific: Epic, Cerner, and MEDITECH quirks handled out of the box.
